1. What This Page Is For

This page explains how you can ask Orbot Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the Orbot platform at orbot.me, to delete the data we hold about you, including data we received through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta products.

2. How to Request Deletion

Send an email to info@orbot.me with the subject Data deletion request.

• If you have an Orbot account: send the email from the email address registered on your Orbot account.
• If you never had an account: if your data reached us through a client's ad, WhatsApp or Facebook interaction, include the Facebook or WhatsApp phone number, or the Facebook profile link, concerned, so we can find and delete it.

3. What We Delete and What We May Keep

On your request we delete:

• Your account profile.
• Notification preferences and phone numbers.
• WhatsApp opt-in records and message logs.
• Device tokens.
• Connected Facebook, Instagram and Meta access tokens, and any Facebook login data.
• Uploaded files linked to your account.
• Agency and client records you created in the Platform, on request.

What we may keep:

• Information we must keep for legal, tax, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
• Anonymised or aggregated statistics that no longer identify you.
• Backups, until they rotate out.

4. Timeline

We confirm receipt of your request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

5. Remove Orbot from Your Facebook Account

If you connected Facebook or Instagram to Orbot, you can remove Orbot from your Facebook account at any time:

• Go to Facebook Settings > Business integrations (or Settings and privacy > Settings > Apps and websites).
• Select Orbot Platform.
• Click Remove.

Removing the app stops further access. To also delete the data we already received, email us as described in section 2.

6. WhatsApp Messages

If you receive WhatsApp messages from Orbot, you can stop them at any time by replying STOP (or ايقاف). To request deletion of your data, email us as described in section 2.
